| Dear Parents:
Marching Season has finally ended. Please take your musician's
band uniform and have it cleaned. Mr. Fortune will accept those
clean uniforms back and exchange them for a clean concert
uniform. Uniform exchange will take place the Monday and
Tuesday before Thanksgiving and the Monday and Tuesday after
Thanksgiving. Nov 24, 25 and Dec. 1 and 2.

22 band kids - a record for us - auditioned at Liberty HS and
competed for places in the KC All Metro Band. Kids
earning a spot in the Jazz Band and All District Bands get a
chance to audition for All State in Columbia in December

Band Reunion - December 20th- Saturday - 6 to 8 PM at
Winnetonka

| Congratulations to Winnetonka Band Musicians who auditioned
for and made the NKCSD High School Honors Band. This group
will travel to UCM, Warrensburg, on November 5, work with
conductor Dr. Scott Lubaroff and perform at concert on that
campus at 2 PM Hendricks Hall

| Pride Band Hoodies
We will be getting Pride Band Hoodies. They will be $22.00 a
piece and sizes 2xl-4xl
will be $24.00. The back will have the Pride Band logo (see top of
webpage) and then on the front left chest area it will just
say "Pride". We will be taking orders until the November
18th band parents meeting. Money is due at the time of
ordering. We should have them back in time to hand out at
the December 9th concert. Please email Shari Beeson at

Alumni Reunion scheduled for Friday May 16 is moved to Saturday
December 20, 2008.
We will have information about this event up in early fall. We
will be seeing the dvd of Carnegie Hall that evening!
